A discounted collection of books from The Critical Thinking Company for Gr 5-6.

If you are new to The Critical Thinking Company range I strongly recommend purchasing the appropriate level of Building Thinking Skills in addition to this bundle.  Building Thinking Skills Level 2 is recommended for use by students in Gr 4-6 and Building Thinking Skills Level 3 figural and verbal (two books) for use by students from Gr 7.  Your able 5th or 6th grader reading at a 7th grade level may be ready for Level 3 of Building Thinking Skills.  This series teaches core analytical skills independent of subject knowledge and many gifted learners are ready for the material well before one would expect based on their age.  Have a look at the sample pages to help you decide on the best level for your child.  If in doubt start with Level 2 and let them experience success but don't wait until they're in Gr 7 to expose them to the material in Level 3 if they don't find Level 2 challenging.
