All orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service from WA. Orders placed by 9 a.m. Pacific ship the same business day (we ship on Saturday but not on Federal Holidays). We will frequently ship orders placed later than this the same day but there are no promises.
All products are in stock unless otherwise indicated. On a rare occasion we'll have a run on a product and a few customers will purchase before we have an opportunity to update the website. Those customers will be notified at the time of shipment and advised as to when the back ordered item is likely to ship.
Shipping charges reflect the actual cost of postal and packing materials. As such the shipping cost will depend on the weight and volume of your package, the destination and the shipping method chosen. Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information. Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where you will be offered shipping method choices and their prices. You will not need to register or provide personal information but, because shipping depends on your location, you will need to provide your zip code.

Media Mail

As you add to your cart shipping will increase by approximately $1 for each $30 of books. Some books are heavier than others so this is just an estimate. Adding additional software titles won't increase the shipping charge much.
Media mail is the cheapest and slowest shipment method offered. Depending on how far you are from WA it could take 2-14 days to receive your order. As an indication within WA transit time is 2-3 business days. To CA, UT and MT takes approximately 4-5 business days. To TX, FL and NY takes 8-10 business days.
Priority Mail
One book or cd shipping priority mail $5.80
Multiple titles will usually ship most cheaply in a USPS flat rate box for $9.80.
The shopping cart displays two different priority mail shipping options. Choose the cheapest one. The shipping service is the same. The only difference is whether USPS charges by weight or volume. Occasionally, for those living in or close to WA or purchasing a number of software titles, priority mail by weight will be a cheaper option than a flat rate box so that option is provided.
Priority mail is our prefered shipment method. Transit time is 2-3 business days to most U.S. addresses (Saturday counts as a shipping day. Sundays and Federal holidays do not.)
Express Mail
One book or cd shipping express mail from $26.00
If you need your order urgently then select USPS Express Mail. Express mail is an overnight or 2 day service. You can check to see whether overnight service is offered to your zip code at http://webapps.usps.com/expressmailcommitments/commitments_results_w.jsp?search. Your order is shipping from zip code 98004. (If this page returns "no service available" change the date to tomorrow - it simply means that the PO close off time for package receipt today to guarantee this service has passed). The USPS site does not provide accurate times for the latest drop off time and remember that those times are for receipt by USPS. After your order is placed it still needs to be packed and transported to the USPS. We guarantee to get your order out the same day if it is placed by 9 a.m. Pacific. If it is placed later we will do our best but there are no promises. It you are placing your order after 9 a.m. Friday and need it urgently please call to discuss options. The USPS provides a weekend delivery service to some destinations for an additional charge. We may be able to ship your order for Sunday delivery.
