If your order contains a non-media item then at least a portion of your order will ship priority mail.  Non-media items include manipulative blocks and LUK Learning System Controllers.  (The prices of these items end in 49c.)  There is no charge for this upgrade and it will not show on your invoice. 

Orders ship every week day from WA.  We will get your order shipped the day it is placed or the next business day.  We do not ship Federal Holidays and will not be shipping on Saturdays during January and February.    

 

All products are in stock unless otherwise indicated.  On a rare occasion we'll have a run on a product and a customer will purchase before we have an opportunity to update the website.  That customer will be notified at the time of shipment and advised as to when the back ordered item is likely to ship.   The one exception to this is software licensed for institutional use (i.e. everything except the home use license).  This software may take an additional week to ship.

 

 

USPS Media Mail
Free to US addresses for orders over $50.

One book or cd shipping media mail  from $3.37
As you add to your cart shipping will increase by approximately $1 for each $30 of books.  Some books are heavier than others so this is just an estimate.  Adding additional software titles won't increase the shipping charge much.
 
Media mail is a special class of mail for books and cds.  It is the cheapest and slowest shipment method offered. Depending on how far you are from WA it could take 2-14 days to receive your order.   As an indication within WA transit time is 2-3 business days.  To CA, UT and MT takes approximately 4-5 business days.  To TX, FL and NY takes approximately 8-10 business days. 
 
If you purchase a single cd or a light weight book (most of those under $10) your media mail order will be shipped first class mail.
 
Because we cannot use media mail to ship non-media items we offer a complementary upgrade to priority mail for orders containing non-media items.  This may mean that you receive your entire order via priority mail or your order may ship in two parts.

Orders up to $40.00 ship in a priority mail envelope for  $4.80
Orders from $40.01 up ship in a priority mail box for $7.45
 
Priority mail is our prefered shipment method.  Transit time is 2-3 business days to most U.S. addresses (Saturday counts as a shipping day. Sundays and Federal holidays do not.)

 

 

The cost for express mail starts at $33.81 for one cd or lightweight book. 
Cost depends on weight and the shopping cart will calculate it for you once you enter your zipcode.  We regret that books are heavy and overnight shipping isn't cheap.
 
If you need your order urgently then select USPS Express Mail. Express mail is an overnight or 2 day service.  You can check to see whether overnight service is offered to your zip code at http://webapps.usps.com/expressmailcommitments/commitments_results_w.jsp?search.  Your order is shipping from zip code 98004.  (If this page returns "no service available" change the date to tomorrow - it simply means that the PO close off time for package receipt today to guarantee this service has passed).  We guarantee to get your order placed by 9pm Pacific shipped the following day by the Post Office cut off time for express mail.   We will do our best to get express mail orders placed during the day shipped the same day but we cannot promise that an order placed today will reach you tomorrow.

 

 

USPS International Priority Mail
We ship internationally using USPS Global Priority Mail.  International orders may take an additional day to process.  Transit time depends on your location but it's usually 1 to 2 weeks.

If your order contains a non-media item (like the manipulative blocks or LUK Learning System Controllers) then those items and whatever else from your order fits inside the flat rate box or envelope used to ship the non-media items will ship priority mail.  Most customers spending up to about $220 will have their entire order shipped priority.  We regret that we can't be precise because it depends on how much space your order requires in the box (rather than the price or weight of your purchase.)
