While we sell the entire Critical Thinking Company range of books and software and love their award winning products we do not recommend their NNAT® Prep bundles if you have a gifted child who will be tested in the next six months. The reason is that the contents of each grade level bundle are based on national performance standards for that grade level. If you have a gifted child you probably want a higher level material than would be used by the average child of your child's age. We recommend our T est Preparation Bundles for Gifted Learners taking the NNAT® or, if you have a specific need, browsing our selections by grade or by skill.

The Critical Thinking Company bases the level of its material on national standards. A typical child working at grade level will be ready to use the material designated as suitable for that grade. The NNAT is a difficult test. In our opinion for your child to perform well enough to be accepted into a competitive entry program (gifted, honors, private school) they will need to perform at a higher level than that of these bundles. If you have a bright child and are hoping they well be accepted into a competitive entry program you recommend that you browse our Test Preparation Bundles for Gifted Learners taking the NNAT®. These bundles contain products from multiple publishers so you get more variety in presentation. You may also find it helpful to review our suggestions for gifted children by grade level to help determine the most appropriate level for your child.
