You've probably found yourself here because you've got a child you suspect is pretty smart and they're going to be tested to see if they qualify as gifted. You may have no idea what to expect. Welcome to the club.
The Naglieri Nonverbal Abilities TestŪ (NNATŪ) is a matrix reasoning test frequently used in an attempt to identify gifted learners. The test questions are presented in a matrix format with no words. You can read more about the test itself in our About the Naglieri Nonverbal Abilities TestŪ (NNATŪ) section . We also provide some information there as to why we've recommended the titles that we do. Don't forget to sign up for our newsletter to receive a link to questions showing the format used in the test itself.
The products included in our NNATŪ Test Preparation Bundles for gifted learners are a multiple award winners. Most have had years of successful use with children. Each activity requires students to analyze, synthesize, and apply what they learn. The more students think about what they are learning, the more students understand what they are learning.
The NNATŪ is not a conventional test with a defined curriculum which can be studied. Instead it aims to assess a particular type of problem solving skill. Solving problems is the best way to develop that skill. We have deliberately chosen products presented in a range of formats. While the Naglieri Nonverbal Abilities TestŪ is taken conventionally with a printed test paper and bubble sheet to record answers children learn best when material is presented in different ways. Use the books, software, game and/or learning system (contents depend on age) included in these bundles to ensure that your child has a solid grasp of the concepts which will be tested.
